(her first surname is Medvedeva after his father), the eldest of the sisters, was born on March 3, 1999 , and started to sing at the age of one year and half. When she was 3 years old her parents sent her to train singing professionally, and since 5 she has performed on stage. During these few years Violetta has performed on different stages of St. Petersburg, has sung in Bulgaria, Italy, in Moscow, Samara. She is a winner of many city, national and international contests and festivals, including two Grand Prix of international and national contest “Little Stars”. Violetta was a semi-finalist of the singing contest “New Wave” – 2009. In 2008, she earned the 3rd place in the contest by Radio Russia. She applied for the “Junior Eurovision” twice: in 2012 and again in 2013, last time in a duet with her sister Milana. In December of 2012 she earned the 1st place in the contest “Lucky Star”, which was broadcasted on the channel TNT Petersburg, on December 23. Since 2013, Violetta participates in International Creative Movement “Republic Kids” (Moscow). She says that her world has turned upside down and her attitude to music and vocals has altered too. It’s also changed her repertoire and her tastes in music. Moreover, she has made new, the closest and true friends. Lately she has sung the songs of Whitney Houston, Lara Fabian, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera, Aretha Franklin, Beyoncé and other performers. Another great part in Violetta’s life, as well as in her sister’s, has their job (yes, a real job!) at “Neva -film” Studio, where she and her sister voice (dub) different characters of the cartoons, feature films and TV series. Violetta loves this job! Among her works are: the movie “Santa Lapus” (as Will), “Sofia the First ” (as Amber and others). Since the summer of 2013 Violetta has sung a duet with her darling younger sister Milana.
“I love to perform, to bring people joy with my voice. Besides singing, I do boxing, since age of 5 years I have studied in a music school (piano, ear training) and I also dance modern jazz. I love music and I will continue to perform and win many major contests. And, of course, sing for audiences! “ – that’s what Violetta said in the interview in 2012.
And since then she has already achieved a lot both as a solo artist and in a duet “Volskie Sisters”! And the victory is yet to come!
