Milana Volskaya
(first name from her father Medvedeva), the youngest of the sisters , was born April 18, 2003.
Milana found their musical abilities and perfect pitch at the age of three years. But seeing her older sister Violeta constantly on TV screens at home (of course mostly pre-recorded), she was embarrassed to sing herself. Her sister was a super star! Milana listened to the songs performed by Violetta in headphones, she was her fan, repeating quietly the entire repertoire of sister, but didn’t dare to perform to the public.
But in the age of five Milana appeared before a huge audience at the festival in Bulgaria at children resort “Obzor” . She sang “Black Cat” and was a huge success . Quite small, without any support, one on a huge stage she did not get lost and sang a cheerful song very emotionally, artistically and clean. She was listened by about 500 people, and the audience burst into applause and enthusiastic shouts!
But Milana did not want to engage in singing. She prepared all that she sang together with her mother, without a vocal teacher. Violin and Piano fascinated her.
Later she appeared on several vocal competitions in St. Petersburg, where she won prizes. She enrolled in the vocal department at Children’s School of Arts. But still she was embarrassed to sing.
And suddenly in the summer of 2012 there was a breakthrough. Milana was listening to music in headphones and rehearsed without teacher and was singing along with songs of Christina Aguilera, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Michael Jackson. It turned out very stylish! Even her sister exclaimed: “You sing better than me!” In the autumn of the same year Milana applied for St. Petersburg Contest “Lucky Star” and earned the 2nd place. The cotest was aired on channel TNT Petersburg on December 23, 2012.
In the spring of 2013 she applied for the Russian qualifying round of “New Wave ” in Moscow. She is the winner of the city, Russian and international competitions and festivals. In 2013, she also applied for the “Junior Eurovision ” in a duet with her sister Violetta . Since 2013 Milana has been engaged in the Republic Kids (Moscow). She sings songs from the repertoire of Alicia Keys, C. Aguilera, Michael Jackson, Ella Fizgerald, Natalie Cole and other artists. Another great part in Violetta’s life, as well as in her sister’s, has their job (yes, a real job!) at “Neva -film” Studio, where she and her sister voice (dub) different characters of the cartoons, feature films and TV series. Milana loves this job! Among her works are: the movie “Santa Lapus” (starring Queen), “Sofia the First ” (as Vivian and others). Since the summer of 2013 Milana sings a duet with her darling elder sister Violetta.
